Quick-Snap Air Purge

The Air Purge makes it easier to remove water from the unit while it is in the ground. The Air Purge snaps onto the Quick-Snap just like the hose. Then clip on a bicycle pump and 3-4 pumps of air will do the trick. Your Quick-Snap is ready to sit through the cold of winter without worry of freeze damage.

Do you need an Air Purge? Only if you live in a climate where a pipe 7-9″ below ground will freeze. Our customers in Southern states rarely use them. You always have the option of removing the Quick-Snap Sprinkler from the ground and replanting it each year. You can also unscrew the sprinkler’s top while leaving the cannister in the ground. A hand towel can be dipped into the cannister to absorb the water and wrung out. It can then be a bit of a challenge to reassemble the unit so that no debris gets inside and the left start position is in the exact same place. We recommend the Air Purge because it makes it so much easier.
