Nozzle Set

Nozzle Set

Your Quick-Snap Sprinkler comes with a nozzle installed.  It throws 2.5 gallons per minute for 40 feet at water pressure of 50 psi when there is no wind.  You can vary that rate with a different nozzle.  This nozzle set comes with a lot of options.  Just remember that it takes a larger aperture for the nozzle to throw more water and the larger the aperture, the shorter the distance the water will travel.  Review this chart to compare the nozzle flow rates at different water pressures.

We are all about saving you money and hassle here at AutoWater so consider this additioal information.  Remember that you can control the angle of the spray by simply tipping your Quick-Snap Sprinkler in the ground when you install it.  Because it is not on a pipe and does not have to drain like some pop-up sprinklers, you tip the whole thing when you bury it to get the angle of spray you want.  This is useful for spraying under tree limbs or up hillsides.  So you may not need a low angle nozzle.

The Quick-Snap Sprinkler must be turned off when changing the nozzle.  It is challenging to change out a nozzle while the sprinkler remains in the ground.  There is a very powerful spring inside that keeps trying to retract the turrent when there is no water flowing.  It is easiest to remove the whole unit from the ground to make the change.  This means you will have to rebury the unit when the nozzle is changed.
